A bit about me: Always been a huge lover of Sci-Fi , Horror art and movies. Started off trying my hand at Comicbook Illustration and then gained employment in the Video game Industry. I have worked on such titles as : NeverWinter Nights, KOTOR, at Bioware. Singularity and Wolfenstein at Raven Software. Currently Guardians of the Galaxy and Batman at Telltale Games.
Once I saw District 9 it really resonated with me and some of the design/art influences I would come thru in my personal work. I've been loving the Oats Studios episodes, I eagerly await more.
Besides games, movies and art, I'm also a bedroom guitarist and collector of Electric Guitars.

Occupation: Working at Nike fills the bank account, writing and producing comic books drains the bank account.

Social Media: If you look up "Cambrian Comics" on Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, or Reddit you'll find me.

    Website: http://www.cambriancomics.com

A bit about me: I am an un ironic lover of comics, superheroes, and science fiction. In fact, I love them so much I decided to write my own comics and try to do it for a living. I currently write and produce a web comic called "The Secret Lives of Villains", which is a bi weekly web comic about a family of super villains and we're working on getting a few more projects up and running.

I moved to Portland a few months ago in order to be a bit closer to the industry and I am currently gathering resources in order to start pitching ideas around, so if you're an artist interested in sequential art (or you have a friend who is an artist) let me know if you're interested and send me page rates with samples.

As for why I joined this forum, it's because I'm a fan of Mr. Blomkamp's work and I want a front row seat for the future of Oats Studios.

    Hello all.
    Name: Cory
Occupation: freelance editor, audio engineer, VFX hobbyist, defense contractor
    Website: not yet
About me: Native southern californian of german and boer descent, plunged deep into the video and audio production sea in my high school days. I studied film history/production, audio production and marine biology while I was in college in oregon. I've been in and out of a handful of recording studios working with bands and doing foley+VO work for film, as well as working with many talented people on film projects in many capacities - though I've had to focus on "regular jobs" and taking care of family business for the past couple years. Really inspired and refreshed by the creativity and audience engagement on offer here, this kind of filmmaking and interaction really feels like the future of filmmaking to me.

    Hey gals and guys.

A bit about me: I'm 21, from Sydney, love film (like all of you), and I am looking to pave my way into the industry. I was homeschooled growing up and often felt that movies and music kept me vigilant when I struggled with people. Repaying the favour the art has done me by producing my own works is my number one goal in life.

I am willing to collaborate for free. Here's a 3 minute sampler for those curious:

    I'm Maciej.
Some three years ago I start to thinking about me. What I want to did. I understood that the movies are with me since I can remember. When I was 5 I watch the movies some 10 years too early. My dad didn't teach me how to repair a car, he watch the movies with his family (including me, child). I don't want to work, buissnes... I want to life by passion. My passion are movies, I want to take part of creating, realise my concepts, deliver a fun, joy and make them happy by movies. :)

    About me:

I'm actually just another Storyteller. I do Comp and 3D for a living and also love to do it.
I was born in Argentina but my parents took me to europe as a kid where we ended up moving a lot as well. I've always been drawing and creating worlds based on observations I made through life. When District 9 came out in 2009 it was like someone had finally made the film of my dreams. The look of it was fresh and it reflected my own fantasies in many ways.

You'll be surprised to see my work though since it basically has nothing in common with the sci fi heavy aesthetics of Oats Studios. But then again... I can assure you that my logic is very similar to yours.

Hope to see more from you guys.
